I had homeschooled my son for Kindergarten and was leary of putting him in 1st grade. Now that it is October, I feel I can safely say that there is a rare diamond in the rough at OBES in the form of 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Heath. I am continually impressed with how well run her classroom is and the daily curriculum. I love the fact that she keeps up with each childs progress and lets them read to her one at a time to access their development. My son loves to read and has been allowed to go at his own pace, even when its a little bit ahead. She deserves much praise and recognition for her efforts. They are outstanding. Thank you Mrs. Heath, because of you, my child looks forward to each day of school and loves learning!
