Last week I went to Baptist Minor Medical @ 3295 Poplar in Memphis, TN for a I twisted my knee. After looking up my insurance I was told that I would need to pay $230 I informed her that I had money in my health account and she really didn't want to heard that but she had someone else come and tell me that if I wanted to be seen I would need to pay $230 because I have outstanding pending claims, (I haven't been to the doctor in over a year, I really think they just wanted my money). I left and said to myself this I knew I should have went to Methodist. Today I went to Methodist Minor Medical Center in Horn Lake and after signing in digital and going to the window Dorothy was able to pull my record up and she noticed that I had money in my HRA account and informed me that I didn't have to pay for this visit. Then Jessica called me and she did my vital the only thing I didn't like was she asked me what was my weight and height. I think went you go to the doctor they should check this automatically. Jeanie was my nurse today and then I saw Karen. I can tell that the people her don't just go to work to get paid they really love their job because it shows.Methodist you are the best Thank You.
I had to take my mother who was ill the other day to this facility. The staff and Doc Falkner were great. I almost went to another clinic after reading past reviews, but EVERYBODY WAS AWESOME!!!!
Nurse Practitioner needs to GO! I wanted to give it 2 stars for the help staff was very nice and helpful. But the Nurse Practitioner Falkner, was horrible. She needs to find another line of work. She has no patience or tolerance. This is the 2nd time I have dealt with her. I saw that she was there and asked the nurse if there was another provider on staff there. She said no and asked if I wanted to continue. I said yes because I don't want to go to the er for this. So asked what was wrong and I explained. I asked for an xray as I am a copd chronic patient. I had a sinus infection or flare up that wouldn't go away after 10 days. They put me in a room and set up an xray. I guess the walls are super thin because the NP said she could hear everything I said to the nurse. She came busting in the room without knocking grabbing one of those ear devices and literally nearly poked my ear out as she quickly "looked in my ear". She had an attitude and asked what brought me here today said she had looked at my previous visits and saw what I was there for previously. I said "what does that have to do with today"? "Furthermore, if you look at my doctors visits you will see I have had an emergency MRI that you didn't mention." She asked to listen to my lungs, which I was wheezing but she said "sounded fine" although my oxygen was low. They ordered a breathing treatment even though I told her I have that at home and have been doing that all week and doesn't work. She dismissed. So I called my lung doctor to let them know I was there. Again, she came busting in the room, didn't knock and said she could come back, I told her no I was on the phone with my lung doctor letting them know. She seemed offended. So she said she was ordering blood work to see it was bacteria or viral infection. I said okay. The lady came in and set up the breathing machine. She came busting up in there after she heard my conversation on the phone with a friend. She literally asked, "What is your problem with me, sat down and began literally grilling me... I heard you when you first came in and said you wanted someone else now I hear you talking to my staff". I said "Excuse me I am on the phone with my friend but yes I have a problem with you because you are rude, nearly poked my ear out and proceeded to define me by my past medical history and not what I am here for today.". I told her I had the right to request another provider as it states that in my rights as a patient if I don't feel I am being "treated well" since that is your "motto" here. She didn't like that I didn't bow down to her treatment. You are not treating me well at all. Then she became combative with me and begin asking me how, and proceeded to tell me all that she had done for me etc..etc..and I told her she needed to check her self because the reviews on here were right about her attitude. I told her a horrible attitude doesn't matter in the big scheme of treatment. She told me she didn't care about some reviews on google. She was very rude, horrible bed side manners, seemed to be in a hurry to collect my copay. She did not listen to me when I told her I could not have steroids. She was insulting which made me more upset and I was sick already, and cried. I have NEVER experienced this from someone who is supposed to take care of people and "treat them well." I am reporting her. I have never been so insulted.
Book an 8am appointment if you do not want to wait long. I went for a regular women check up. The nurses and doctors were extremely helpful and friendly. Made me feel comfortable!
They make you feel better from checkin to checkout. From the receptionist, nurses, technicians, and Doctors are some of the best. Thirty five minutes from checkin to release with prescription in hand. They were so gentle in taking vitals and blood work. Great facility. Keep up the great work.
