Just... awful. Don't even think about going here. They are consistently understaffed. Worse, they keep this terrible dance music cranked up so loud your waiter/waitress can't hear a word you say. No wonder the orders come out wrong! Worse, the past couple of times I've gone my food has been undercooked (steak) and burned (burger).
Applebees isn't what it use to be anymore which I'm sad about. Went their got seated quickly. The server came got our drink and we didn't see him anymore after that which was 15 min later literally until we left. I try to give servers benefit of the doubt because I've served for 15 years but totally unacceptable when YOUR STORE ITSELF ISNT BUSY.
Horrible food. I ordered chicken tenders with fries, a cheeseburger with fries and boneless wings appetizer. The chicken tenders were cooked with old grease and were not at all fresh. The bread on the cheeseburger was stale and the wings were not freshly cooked. They looked old. The fries were cold. Horrible experience. The service was ok, but the food was NOT!!!!!
Drinks were weak as water. So I tried again a month from my first posting. I ordered steak and baked potato with green beans. She forgot the butter and cheese I asked for. After the first $1 margarita we asked to keep them coming all night. Never got a second. Then we had to ask for utensils, they gave us plastic to go utensils with no explanation and everyone else got silverware. We waited like 20 minutes to pay for our food and she didn't come running until I left out. My date tried to pay on the table machine but the waitress never keyed our order in. People wonder why we don't tip. Then say black people don't tip. I hate that mess because if you do your job you would get a tip easy. You have one job and it's not even to cook the food.
Maybe if management would try and make the atmosphere a bit less like a nightclub and more like a family restaurant it would get better. But, if you suggest that in person, be prepared to receive stupid looks.
The absolutely worst dining experience I've had in a long time. This place is filthy. The service was horrible, rude and crude. The wait staff disappeared along with the manager and came back glazed. Awful would have been better than what we had. Never, ever again. Period.
